Ditch your oven mitts; no baking required
I have really been enjoying these last couple of weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. Between getting ready for the best meal of the year and the Christmas season to follow, there is just a different type of excitement in the air. I love getting to wear my leggings and sweaters and I am really looking forward to the long holiday weekend. As I prepare for one of my favorite days of the year, I have been making my grocery list for everything that I will need to cook my first Thanksgiving dinner in the new house!
I wanted to find the perfect crowd pleasing dessert to share on Thanksgiving (or just to eat in the weeks to come). I’ve had a sweet tooth recently and have been experimenting with some fun ideas of possible desserts. After too many Pinterest fails to count, I have been making up my own recipes…
Luckily, I have whipped up the best pumpkin pie party dip that you can to take to a potluck at work or serve as a Thanksgiving dessert!
This recipe is easy to make and is the perfect go-to dessert for Thanksgiving!
Pumpkin Pie Party Dip
8 oz package of cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
7.5 oz jar of marshmallow fluff
1/2 cup of pumpkin purée
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp cinnamon
Serve with graham crackers or vanilla wafers
Place cream cheese, powdered sugar, and pumpkin into mixer and mix for 30 seconds on high. Add in marshmallow fluff, followed by pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon, mix until combined (how easy is that). Top with graham cracker crumbles and, if you’re feeling extra fancy, top with whip cream.
Bubbly Wife Tip: If you want a lighter, fluffier dip, add a 1/2 cup of whip cream to the recipe!
This pumpkin pie party dip is a whole lot of delicious goodness that you can serve on Thanksgiving! Do not forget to refrigerate your dip until you are ready to serve. You can also add a layer of graham crackers as a crumble, but don’t do this until you are ready to eat! Otherwise, the crackers will get soggy!
